When picking up equipment that has been booked, before leaving, all renters are required to review and agree to our rental terms and conditions.

Those booking through the website will have the opportunity to review the terms and agree upon checkout. Those booking a rental in person will have the opportunity to review the terms and agree via a physical form.

Membership Discounts
Sign up for an N2M2L Membership to gain access to member-exclusive equipment and member-exclusive pricing. When purchasing a Membership you will also get discounts on future N2M2L Events and Workshops, access to fellow member and staff expertise in video, film, and media arts, and the right to vote at member meetings.

Proficiency Tests
Certain equipment will require a renter to complete and pass a proficiency test. Proficiency tests are available to download below to review. This test is to be completed in-person at the N2M2L offices and must be scheduled in advance.

Depending on your ability, the test could take up to 30 minutes to complete. Once a proficiency test is completed, it permits the rental of that item indefinitely. To rent equipment requiring a proficiency test, renters must be members. To schedule a test, please contact Jameson at [email protected].

Training sessions for members are also available to familiarize yourself with equipment at a cost of $15/hour and must also be booked in advance (recommended two weeks).
