We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 3rd edition of the 48-hour Film Competition, taking place October 24 to 26, 2025, at the Near North Makerspace, 108 Main Street East, North Bay, ON.

Filmmakers of all backgrounds are invited to take part in this thrilling challenge. Teams will create a short film from start to finish in only 48 hours, guided by this year’s theme: “Worlds Collide.” It is an opportunity to showcase creativity, push boundaries, and connect with fellow storytellers.

A panel of jurors will review the submissions. The top three films will be featured on the festival website, and the winning film will premiere on the final evening of the North Bay Film Festival.

💲 Registration costs just $25 per team, with a deadline of October 17, 2025. Prizes will be announced at a later date, so stay tuned for details.
