Join Our Board and Help Shape the Future of Arts and Media in Northern Ontario

Are you passionate about creativity, community, and equity in the arts? Near North Mobile Media Lab is currently seeking new board members to help guide our organization into its next chapter.

As a non-profit media arts organization, we’re committed to supporting emerging and independent artists through access to equipment, education, and collaborative programming. Our work spans across Northern Ontario, and we’re especially focused on creating inclusive, accessible spaces for youth, artists, and community members to explore digital and media arts.

We believe that strong governance comes from diverse perspectives. That’s why we’re actively looking to build a board that reflects the many communities we serve — including individuals from Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQIA+, and other equity-deserving groups. Your lived experience, curiosity, and commitment to community are just as valuable as any previous board experience (and if you don’t have that, don’t worry — we’ll support you with mentorship and onboarding).

Whether you’re an artist, educator, organizer, technologist, student, or someone who just wants to give back, this is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the arts in your region.
