Registration Now Open: New Voices Zine Workshop
Registration is now open for the New Voices Zine Workshop, a free workshop series for newcomer youth ages 11–19 living in North Bay.
This workshop is part of the New Voices Co-Design Lab, a program that supports newcomer and refugee youth in exploring storytelling, media creation, and creative expression through hands-on workshops.
About the Workshop Series
This New Voices workshop invites youth to design and create their own mini magazine, also known as a zine. Participants will explore creative storytelling through writing, drawing, and layout while developing their own unique voice.
Working in a supportive and welcoming environment at the Near North Makerspace, youth will experiment with ideas, share perspectives, and create something they can take home and be proud of.
No experience is required, just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to try something new.
