The Canon C100 is a great choice for small film crews and independent film makers due to a lot of it’s features. It shoots up to 3 hours of HD 1920 x 1080 resolution video (when using a single 32 GB card) and it’s ISO ranges from 320 - 102 400. The camera has dual memory card slots, built in ND filters, and slow/fast motions filming options. Features that would benefit a small crew or independent film makers are the low light sensitivity, the ability to remotely control the camera using the phone, and the ability to auto focus while the camera is moving. Additionally you can activate a button lock mode which prevents the accidental pressing of any buttons while filming.
