A unique last-minute gift for that creative individual on your list, or the perfect way to get started on your new Christmas tech gifts… N2M2L begins January 2012 with a month of Express workshops in Digital Video! Each three-hour evening session will give you a hands-on chance to try out your own equipment, or media lab gear to hone your video skills.

Each series will include 2 sessions/week, beginning with camera and audio basics and finishing with Editing and finalizing your work. Choose one series or all four for the complete video production experience. In between sessions in your chance to go out and get your footage, what you create is up to you!

Camera Basics
Date: January 10th & 12th, 2012
Time: 6:00 – 9:00pm
Ready to try out that new Christmas gift? Bring your own camera, or use the Media Lab gear and try out your skills while meeting twice a week for lessons in shooting, framing and how to get that perfect shot.

Video Editing
Date: January 17th & 19th, 2012
Time: 6:00 – 9:00pm
Now you have your perfect shot, put your footage to use and streamline your film into a cohesive video, add titles and music and let your creativity soar!

Each session will take place at the Near North Mobile Media Lab headquarters in the Capitol Centre theatre. Included free in the four-session package is a year membership to the Near North Mobile Media Lab ($30 value)!
